Assembly For 2017

On Tuesday Room 12 had to present a class item for the first syndicate assembly for 2017. The host were Tyron, Meana, Mika, Vaimoana, Athens, Lupe, Azahar and lastly me. All of us decided we were going to do a freestyle dance off. After a long time of thinking Mika decided to choose Room 10 as the winner. 

Start Of 2017

On Thursday morning school started and I was still in bed. I rushed around the house searching for my bag so that I could get ready. Finally a few moments later I was all sorted and ready. As I arrived at school everyone started to say, "Hi." I was very happy to see my friends and start to learn with new classmates.

Athletics Day

Ready, set, go!! On Wednesday afternoon the whole school got ready for athletes. The Juniors started off the event on the 50m line. When they finished the Seniors were up. We all got up and lined up behind the 75m so we can race. When the girls bolted off it was the year seven boys' turn. Mrs Pederson shouted,  " Ready, set, Go!!"
When I heard, "Go" I bolted as fast as a cheetah. When I finished I came third for seventy five meters. When this event was done everyone got up to get ready for the one hundred meters. Later on it was the year seven boys' turn for one hundred meters. Once again Mrs Pederson shouted,  " Ready, set, Go!!" When I crossed the finish line I came second.        

Breakers Trip

On Wednesday a few boys from Rooms 12 and 11 got picked for a trip to go to the breakers training  zone. The 10 chosen boys were Sione, Min zin, Pepe, Dakbai, Popi, Mika, Quros, Aydrian, Samuel and me. When we arrived, there were heaps of other schools and loud screeching of the breakers shoes on the floor. When they completed their training all the schools grabbed a ball and started to play around with the breakers. After we finished playing everyone lined up and waited to obtain signatures from the breakers. At the end we took a photo with our ball and then some other school came to the front and did a haka.    

Film Festival 2016

For the past few weeks our team has been working very hard on the movie. At first our team didn't start off well but then we all decided to work together. When the film was done our team was very happy and we were excited to see ourselves on the big screen.  

P.A.T Test

On Wednesday I walked in class and saw Maths Test today. I was very scared about the Maths Test because I don't really like Maths.The year sevens lined up and got ready to go to Room 11 for the long Maths test. When we walked in Room 11, Mr Reid told us that the test was for 45 minutes.

Missing Teacher

It's the day of Halloween and Mrs Golder was missing. After fitness Mrs Vickers had to split us up. Room 12 were put in different classes and we had to take our bags and chromebooks to do our work.  When we arrived in Room 1 we were excited until we opened our chromebooks. They had low batterys . Mika and Lupe's chromebooks were also flat so we asked Mrs Pederson if we could  go and charge our chormebooks. We went to Room 11 and asked Mr Reid, "Could we use some of the students chargers for our chromebooks?"
