Thrid Place For Cross Country

For the past few weeks we have been pratising running for the cross country race. When the real cross country came all the boys and girls ran around the school. We did three laps and then we ran around the field once. Finally, we bolted to the finish line. When I saw the finish line I dashed to it and I came third place.   

Mini Olympics

On Friday the whole school lined up in their teams. We started with the opening ceremony, then we began to have fun. South Africa started with gumboot where we throw the boot as far as we can. When we finished playing we came in and did a closing ceremony. Each teacher came forward and picked a person for sportsmanship and participating awards.

Today after morning tea the whole Senior block lined up in front of  Room 11 for our Mini Olympic slides. The country that I had been put in was South Africa. After that we went into a different classroom. In my team was Min Zin, Mary-Ruth, Katrina and me. We had to make a slide and share it with our team. On the slide we had to fill out some information about our country.

Buddy Reading In Room 7

On Monday afternoon when lunch time ended we went inside and started to do blogging. When it was about 2:30 pm we went to Room Seven for buddy reading. When we were all packed up we went up to Room Seven. When they were all organized we went inside and chose a buddy to read with. Later on when we had been sorted our buddy started to read. Later on my buddy completed the book and took it back.  A few moments later the bell rang and we all went home.

I'm so Sad:(

On Wednesday morning I was getting ready for school and when I arrived I heard, "Soccer is cancelled".  When I went inside the class I felt a bit sad.  After the bell rang we had to do fitness. After we finished fitness we went inside our classroom but before we went in Mr Reid said, "Whoever is in the soccer team take a photo''. In my head I felt a little disappointed because I really wanted to go Inter-school soccer. It was my first time going to soccer.

My Adventure To Tonga

    

On Thursday afternoon I left school to go home because I was going to Tonga with my dad. When I arrived  home I showered and helped with the packing. When me, my dad and my mum finished packing we went in the car and said, "Bye." After we our farewell we arrived at the the airport, weighed the bags, checked in, filled the form and ate before we left. When the form was completed, me and my dad took photos of each other. Later on when we were on the plane we looked outside the window and all we could see were clouds. Two hours later we arrived at Tonga and saw people waving at all the people who were on the plane including us. The reason why we went to Tonga was for mother's day.

A Volcano Eruption

On Thursday afternoon Room 11 came into Room 12 for a science experiment. What we did was a volcano, in my team it was Meana, Mele, Teremoana, Sebastion, Pepe and me. What we had to do was write a hypothesis about what we thought was going to happen to the volcano. After that we went outside to get the ingredients to perform the experiment. When we mixed the ingredients it started to rise. I thought that it would go really high but it didn't.
